Preparation

  1. Place the chickpeas in a bowl. Add the sesame paste (tahini), mustard and honey. Roughly mash with a fork. Add the celery, gherkins, onion and capers, mix and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Marinate the chicory in the olive oil and lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Serve the chicory salad. Spread the mashed chickpeas and tahini onto the slices of bread and also serve.
